But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. John 4:23
Worship is the appropriate human response as we recognize who God is and what He has done. He is all-powerful and all-knowing, holy and just, perfect in all of His ways. As He has revealed Himself to His people with mercy and grace in Jesus Christ, the response of our hearts must be praise, confession, prayer, and humbly listening to and seeking to obey His Word.
One of our main purposes of gathering corporately for worship is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We aspire to do this throughout our whole worship service by cultivating in the congregation three things: a dawning realization of the greatness of our God, a growing awareness of our own sinfulness, and a fresh and continual discovery of the pardoning grace of God revealed in the cross of Jesus Christ.
The Bible calls us to the great privilege of worship both as individuals and in community - that we worship together and declare to one another the greatness of our God and His kindness to us. We desire to engage our heart, soul, mind and strength in the daily life of worship as disciples of Jesus and to engage with God in worship together.
We gather for the purpose of worship every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. There is a fellowship time after worship from 10:45-11:15 am and Christian education classes for all ages start at 11:15 am. We seek to include a variety of musical styles and worship elements to draw our hearts together in praise of our Savior.
